This paper summarizes the author’s positions on a number of user interface design issues for electronic books (e-books). It proposes a definition and genre classification for e-books, and suggests feature priorities for each genre. We report a statistical analysis of more than eight thousand songs. Specifically, we investigated the probability distribution of the normalized sound amplitudes.
